From Betsafe: Betsafe is in the process of moving its affiliate services to Affiliate Lounge. This is an important process which will improve our current way of doing business with you. Your account will be effected by this move and we aim to make this process as painless as possible. As part of this process, Affiliate lounge is also increasing staff with the aim of being 14 people by the end of this year. Our ultimate goal is to offer a much stronger affiliate product, with the added benefit of promoting 3 more brands (Betsson, Casino Euro, Cherry Casino), which will make it possible for you to reach even higher conversions and revenues.
The entire process will take a number of steps, the first of which is the replication of your existing betsafe affiliate account to affiliate lounge. This will be done on 05/12/2011. You should endeavour to start using this account to promote betsafe and use affiliate lounge powered tracking links. The replication will allow you to log into affiliate lounge using your existing betsafe affiliates username and password.
We will do everything we can to make this transition as simple and efficient as possible but we are sure there will be a lot of questions. Below are some you may have. However, do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further queries on support@affiliatelounge.com
Will I have to register on Affiliate Lounge?
No, you will be able to log into Affiliate Lounge using the same username and password as on betsafe affiliates. On your first log in, you will be requested to agree to the Affiliate Lounge terms and conditions. You can view these here. If you already have an account in affiliate lounge with the same username, your new username will be the same with ‘_bs’ at the back. For example, if your username on betsafe affiliates is ‘affiliate1’ and this already exists on affiliate lounge, your new username will be ‘affiliate1_bs’.

What data will be replicated to Affiliate Lounge on 12/05/2011?
Your account details will be migrated to Affiliate Lounge including your preferred method of payment. No player data will be replicated at this point and you will still be able to log into betsafe affiliates. However you should start using your affiliate lounge account to promote betsafe as betsafe affiliates will be phased out over the coming months.
Will I still be able to log into betsafe affiliates?
Yes, you will be able to log into betsafe affiliates and tracking will continue to function.
Will my commission plan change?
No, you will remain on the same commission plan as before. Your commission plan on betsafe affiliates will not change and you will continue to earn commission via the payment you selected when you first registered. Affiliate Lounge also carries the same commission plan for Betsafe. Commissions earned via Affiliate Lounge will also be paid via that same method and the two commission plans will be calculated separately.
Who will be my account manager?
You will have the same account manager as before. If you do not know who your manager is, kindly contact support@affiliatelounge.com.
Will there be marketing media?
All the top converting banners currently available on betsafe affiliates is available in Affiliate Lounge. Direct links to various betsafe pages and text links will also be available. Old outdated banners have been removed or replaced. This will give you a much more up to date and tidier media gallery. The existing betsafe affiliate media gallery will not be updated with the latest media and you should endeavour to promote Betsafe via Affiliate Lounge.
Will my trackers change?
Your existing netrefer powered links will continue to work and data for new players acquired via those links will continue to be reported in betsafe affiliates. However, you should endeavour to change these links and replace banners to those powered by affiliate lounge as soon as possible. Betsafe affiliates will be phased out in the coming months so use this time as an opportunity to switch your links to those provided in Affiliate Lounge. Netreffer powered links will cease to function in the near future and we will inform you well in advance before this happens. IMPORTANT: Netreffer powered links will cease to function on 01.01.2012 for players and traffic being sent from Denmark and Greenland. The new betsafe.dk brand, under next year’s local Danish regulation, can only be promoted via affiliate lounge.
What will happen next?
Once your account has been replicated on Affiliate Lounge, the next step will be to migrate all historical player data so that you can view all your data in Affiliate Lounge. We aim to migrate historical data back from October 2010. We will also migrate your existing marketing sources and trackers (which are called campaigns in Affiliate Lounge). The betsafe media gallery will also be closed and a deadline will be set for the Betsafe affiliates tracking links to stop functioning. We will inform you well in advance before this happens but we suggest that you begin replacing your tracking links to those in Affiliate Lounge as soon as possible.
