We have arrived at that stage in the UEFA Champions League where teams must win if they want to stay in the competition. Manchester City have the toughest test of all, as they host Spanish champions Real Madrid in the tie of the round.
Chelsea are also in a tricky position, as they travel to Italian champions Juventus and need a win to keep their hopes of retaining the trophy.

Chelsea travel to Turin knowing that a win is unlikely as Juve haven’t lost at home against English opposition in their last five matches. The Blues will hold on to the fact that Juventus have lost and drawn their last two matches at home in the league, could Chelsea produce the kind of display they did at home to Napoli last season and progress? |

| MAN CITY v REAL MADRID – Wednesday 19.45
Man City – 3.09, The Draw – 3.61, Real Madrid – 2.08 Man City have performed poorly in the Champions League this season and they have a lot of work to do to qualify to the knockout stages. City need to beat Real and Dortmund in their next fixture and hope other matches go their way to have any chance of qualifying. There is a small chance they can still go through, they need to beat Ronaldo’s Real first though. |
