Hi Simon, thanks for taking some time to let your peers, colleagues and friends learn a little bit more about you and why people should contact you for new affiliate deals.
1. You have been with Ihre Consulting for almost a year now. What would you say you love most about your role, the company, the team etc
I have always had a big interest towards gaming, especially poker where I have spent hours watching the big boys playing. I tried to imitate the game into mine, how that worked is another story 🙂
So to work with the gaming industry, could it be so much better? I don’t think so, my role as Account Manager at Ihre really gives me the opportunity to reach out to like-minded people.
To have daily contact with people from all over the world discussing the best solution for that particular affiliate and operator, connect them and see the results grow, that to me is a giving feeling.
I love to enter the office in mornings. Ihre as a company really welcomed me with open arms and I quickly felt like one in the team. We work very good together, exchanging tips and ideas to ensure we give our customers the best solution possible.
Not a day goes by without some teasing and messing within the team which I love, so no shortage of laughter I can ensure.
2. How do you like to unwind and relax after a hard day / week at the office?
I have a big interest in sports so a visit to the gym goes hand in hand. Meeting up with my friends and family for some food and maybe one or two beers brings quality to my life. I really enjoy a good movie, for me the best way to relax. Last but not least to spend time with my beautiful girlfriend.
3. You are relatively new to the gaming industry. How did you learn so quickly the industry? Do you ask your peers, look at forums, industry news and literature etc?
The biggest reason that I learned the business as fast as I did is because of my burning interest, if you are interested in the things you do, you learn them faster, simple as that.
I signed up on as many igaming newsletters, forums as I could to immediately be a part of the loop.
I also had the luck to join such an experienced team, so a better start of my career is hard to ask for.
4. Tell us something interesting about yourself? I heard you were a singer ?!
I have since I was little enjoyed entertaining people in different ways, mostly by singing.
My biggest Idol was KISS, so when I was around 13 years I started a cover band with my friend Viktor, we called us SIKK, (great fantasy). Before every gig we dressed ourselves, put the make up on each other, put some fake blood in our mouths and just rocked the hell out- Imagine how that looked haha. Nowadays I am singing with 2 friends both from Stockholm, just finished practicing our program so now it’s time to hit the streets.
5. Why should people be contacting you specifically at Ihre Consulting?
I think I can bring a fresh and new perspective look into the igaming Industry; I will not be satisfied until I have reached the best solution for each parties. I think the best way to do long term business is to create a good bond so in all seriousness I always like laughter or two.
