Unibet Affiliates updated their T&Cs last Thursday 20/06/2013 with the following clauses.
INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS
a) This document (the “Agreement”) sets out the terms and conditions agreed between Unibet Services Limited (hereinafter “Unibet”), a company duly registered under the laws of Malta by means of registration No. C58843, having its registered office at “Fawwara Buildings”, Msidia road, Gzira, GZR1405, Malta and the person/company set out on the relevant application form (hereinafter the “Affiliate”), regarding the Affiliate’s application to join (and if the Affiliate’s application is successful, the Affiliate’s membership of) Unibet’s Affiliate program and to promote the Unibet Site and the creation of internet hyperlinks from the Affiliate’s website to the Unibet Site (hereinafter the “Links”).
4.6 The Affiliate may not purchase or register keywords, search terms or other identifiers for use in any search engine, portal, sponsored advertising service or other search or referral service and which are identical or similar to any of Unibet’s trademarks or otherwise include the words “Unibet”, “Maria” or variations thereof in the “domain name”, (i.e. after any prefixes but before the top level domain suffix), or include metatags on the Affiliate Site which are identical or similar to any of Unibet’s trademarks.
7.12 Payments shall be made approximately 10 to 15 calendar days following the end of the month in which the Affiliate’s commission was earned.
The Commissions of Affiliates who are not registered for VAT are processed automatically through the NetRefer technical platform, without the need for the Affiliate to raise an invoice.
Affiliates registered for VAT in Malta must invoice Unibet before the 5th day of the month following the month for which the commission is to be paid. Failure to submit a valid invoice by this date will possibly result in delay of payment.
Affiliates registered for VAT outside of Malta, should invoice Unibet for their commission. In case the Affiliate does not provide an invoice, Unibet will generate self-invoices through the Affiliate System with which to organise payment. The Affiliate hereby accepts the validity of invoices generated by Unibet directly through the Affiliate System, and their use by Unibet for administrative and tax compliance purposes. These self-invoices can, if required, be accessed by the Affiliate directly in the Affiliate Account.
The Affiliate shall invoice Unibet Services Limited, mentioning the “PO number” provided by his affiliate manager, and send their invoices by email to USL_invoices@unibet.com.
