Intertops’ story began back in 1983 when the German founder of the company packed his bags, left for England to revolutionize the German sports betting scene. Using his British bookmaking license he offered German customers odds on sporting events under the name of “Intertops”. Up until then the market had been dominated by a state-run monopoly providing a highly unsatisfactory range of bets.
The World Wide Web, as we know it today, hadn’t even been imagined back when Intertops was born.
